The end is nigh
“What’s on your NYC bucket list?”
I’ve been getting that question a lot since I shared the wacky plot twist that I’m moving to Miami at the end of October. While I’ll certainly be revisiting a few favorite restaurants, museums, and neighborhoods before I go, I’m also trying to resist the pressure to make these final few weeks “perfect.” IMO, the more you try to orchestrate a flawless experience, the less fun you end up having. (Also…I’ll be back in NYC a lot—including this winter, to celebrate the launch of my adult debut, SEE YOU AT THE SUMMIT, which comes out on Jan. 27, 2026.)
So, to answer what’s on my NYC bucket list: For the most part, it’s appreciating the organic everyday moments that make my life here so special, like workouts with my Strength City fam, coffee shop writing dates to, and cozy hangs with my BFFs.
