First, a bit of backstory: One morning in the fall of 2022, I woke up with an idea for a YA thriller clawing at the inside of my chest. I opened an email to my agent and feverishly typed up a pitch about an 18-year-old aspiring journalist who infiltrates the seedy underbelly of Manhattan high society to uncover the truth behind her sister’s untimely death. That pitch went on to become WICKED DARLINGS, which hits shelves on Feb. 11, 2025.
